Ukrainian Village offers historic streets, beautiful architecture, and a strong arts presence. Housing includes vintage homes and newer condos. The neighborhood feels residential yet connected, with easy access to nearby cultural and entertainment areas.
Ukrainian Village surprises people the first time they walk it. The church domes, the old workers' cottages, and the greystones next to new construction make it one of the most distinct neighborhoods in the city. It is quieter than Wicker Park, but you can still walk to Division or Chicago Avenue for dinner. It is often where I point buyers who love Wicker Park but want it a little calmer. That is the matchmaking part of this job, and it is my favorite part.
