Gold Coast buyers usually know what they want before they call me. A certain kind of building. A certain kind of quiet. The lake a few blocks away, without the Navy Pier crowds. This is one of the few places in Chicago where the architecture is part of the reason people buy. Some of these blocks have not changed much in a hundred years, and that is the point. One thing I always talk through here is the building itself. Older condo and cooperative buildings each have their own rules, and it is better to know them before you fall in love with a view.
